Nick Dunkenstein (She/Them/A Graveyard Smash) is an artist, writer, comic artist and full-time enigma. Their work dives deep into all things morbid and curious but makes sure not to forget the wonderment of life and the jokes that keep us going. With a love of retro cult horror movies, comic books, and cemeteries, Nick’s work has ranged from bone assemblage pieces to tattoos, album covers for bands such as The Last Electric Rodeo’s Prequella and Retro Futrum, as well as illustrations & comics for various books like Living Beyond Death written by Susanna Stowell Massari, and More Snakes Than People, & A Southern Gothic Children’s Book both written by Damon Thomas. Their art piece, Drink Up, was included in Pride with a Bite’s charity anthology, We Bite Back. There’s so much more to list!

Nick’s writing can be found within her own works; a book of poetry based off her dreams throughout several years – titled My Name Is Not Pandora – while more work is also found in various zines and anthologies. Her comic titled The Pandemic Diaries has been an ongoing series of very silly drawings depicting her many wild adventures within her life.
